For best results, lightly moisten both the SeaSucker pad and the mounting surface before application. The smoother the surface, the stronger the vacuum seal.

If you're mounting a SeaSucker to an uneven surface, apply pressure to one side with one hand, then press the other side down firmly while simultaneously pumping the vacuum mount. This helps create a more secure seal despite the unevenness.

Important: If you see the orange indicator band on the vacuum pump, the seal is not secure. Adjust the mount until the orange band is no longer visible after pumping.
